Alex Lowrie

Job Title: Principle Engineer


Alex joined Tech Networks in August 2004 as our principle support engineer.

Alex worked for IP Industries in 2002 where he was responsible for desktop / server support both internally and for clients. Alex had exposure to WAN infrastructure from Cisco and Ericsson as well as numerous hosting configurations that were required by clients, and internal development teams.

He moved to Maindec in late 2002 where he was a field engineer for HP / Olivetti and numerous other manufacturers equipment, Alex became HP certified in Mono Laser Printers while working for maindec, and is stilln no stranger to the guts of most printers today.

Alex is in charge of the day to day running of our Technical Support department, dealing with support requests, parts ordering, and ensuring that jobs are allocated to the correct engineer for the task.



Darren Jeory

Darren Joined Tech Networks in March 2006 as our Sales Director

Having previously worked for Tier 1 and Living Business Solutions, Darren is no stranger to supplying IT equipment ranging from PDA's to Servers and everything in between.

Darren has successfully setup a number of stategic partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers so we can provide a first class service together with unbeatable prices.

Here at Tech Networks, Darren is in charge of Sales and Customer Service, ensuring that all our clients are 100% satisfied with our work and that any issues are dealt with qucikly and courteously.



Mike Hyslop

Job Title: Technical Director


Mike joined Tech Networks in March 2003 as Technical Director, and is now Managing Director .

Mike worked for Parexel as an IT Support Engineer where he was responsible for Desktop / Server support along with internal network equipment (Cisco / Nortel). Mike was also responsible for a pan-european rollout of NDS ZenWorks 2 to desktops and servers to simplify desktop support. In the summer of 2000 Mike Joined the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive as an IT Support Officer, along side day to day technical support issues that the users had. Mike has worked on a number of major desktop rollout projects to over 200 machines across multiple sites.

Mike is responsible for maintaining our internal systems (File servers / Development servers, Firewalls and connectivity), and our hosting facility based in London.

Alongside this, Mike is our 3rd line support engineer stepping into the support role when particluarly difficult challenges arise.
