What is LCR?

LCR or Least Cost Routing is a solution delivering lower cost communications from your phone lines to any destination in the world.

How does it work?

Tech Networks operates its own phone network, using world class suppliers such as Colt, C&W and BT. We utilise sophisticated call management to exploit the very best tariff for each call, to each destination at that particular time of day. This is done using indirect access, initially via BT's networks - but at a lower cost. (Direct connection is also available, subject to location.)

Because Tech Networks is an independent company we are not constrained by any one network provider. Therefore we can find the most competitive tariffs based on your specific pattern of usage to give you the lowest possible call charges. This is done on a second by second basis, making adjustments as tariffs change. We can even ensure that your non-geographic numbers (0845 and free phone numbers for example) are routed through the most cost effective call tariff options.

Mobile traffic can benefit from the installation of one or more Premicell units for reduced rates. The Premicell is a mobile phone that your phone system uses (requires 1 analogue port) the premicell contains a SIM card with a large free minute plan, so calls to mobiles work the same way as calling from a mobile, but with the benefit of being shared amongst your entire workforce

If you have multiple sites we can simplify billing by having calls for all sites appear on one bill, abolishing the need to collate numerous bills.
