Anti Virus

Viruses have grown in complexity over recent years, and range from simple traffic generating worms to highly destructive multi vector programs, all of which cause huge problems for business with downtime and loss of productivity. Many of our customers are firm believers that prevention is better than cure and have opted for us to protect them so they can continue unhindered through global virus outbreaks. Those customers who don't have adequate virus protection were able to enjoy our fast response and highly effective virus containment routine that ensures their IT infrastructure will be returned to a clean and working state in a short time frame.

Network Virus Protection

Over the years we have tested many different offerings from different manufacturers and have found that for ease, of use, manageability and scalability the products from Symantec frequently come out on top. Whether you need to protect a single PC or a multi site organisation the Symantec range has a product to suit.

Symantec have 3 offerings designed to protect the networks of organisations of all sizes, each package features UTM (Unified Threat Management) to proactively protect against malware, spyware, adware, viruses, trojans and worms.

Standard

The standard Offering is a single PC product, capable of detecting and removing spyware, adware, viruses, trojans and worms. For added safety it is also capable of scanning email as it is both sent and received and also scanning inside the compressed files that are often used to move larger amounts of data over email. The Standard antivirus product comes with 1 year of updates, which can be renewed online at the end of the licence period. Additional savings can be made by purchasing the "Home Protection Pack" which includes 3 copies of the product.

Groupware

The Groupware product is aimed at businesses wanting to protect and manage multiple PC's from a central location. Installation, configuration and updates can all be handled from the control panel. Groupware can also provide antivirus scanning to an exchange mail server, catching viruses and spyware before they reach the end user. Anti spam is also included to help combat the ever increasing annoyance of unsolicited email.

Multi Tier

Symantec AntiVirus Enterprise Edition provides virus protection, content filtering, and spam prevention for the Internet gateway and Domino and Exchange environments, along with malware protection for enterprise workstations and network servers. This comprehensive, easy-to-deploy solution includes the integrated suite of Symantec's Mail Security for SMTP, Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange, Mail Security for Domino, antivirus Corporate Edition, and Web Security products. Symantec tamper protection prevents unauthorized antivirus access and attacks from attempting to disable anti virus measures. As an additional add-on Symantec offer a premium AntiSpam service to intelligently filter and prevent unwanted junk email from reaching user mail boxes. All enterprise-wide features including advanced automation and rapid updating and response can be accessed and controlled from a single management console.
