ISDN 2e
Presented as 1 copper circuit carrying 2 channels capable of operating at upto 64k per channel . This is ideal for phone systems for SME's or for failover communication needs for any size business.
ISDN 30 (E1)
Presented as either a copper or fibre circuit containing upto 30 ISDN channels (sold in blocks of 8), each channel is a 64k channel. Ideally suited to phone systems for organisations of 20 or more people.
ADSL / SDSL
ADSL is an ideal high speed, low cost replacement for traditionally more expensive leased lines. many of our clients are alreasy enjoying the benefits of faster internet, along with free phone calls between sites (Subject to VoIP requirements and associated equipment). We can provide either managed or unmanaged ADSL circuits at speeds ranging from 512Kbps to 8Mb with contention ratios as low as 1:1. QoS is available on our 1:1 service.
SDSL has all the benefits of ADSL, but the upstream (sending) and downstream (downloading) speeds are the same, unlike ADSL where the downstream speed is far higher than the upstream speed, SDSL is suited to anyone who frequently sends large amounts of data across the internet or organizations with remote workers where higher upstream speeds are required, we can provide SDSL circuits ranging from 512/512 to 2048/2048. SDSL availability is limited, but typically available in large metropolitan areas.
VoIP serices are supported over all of our ADSL / SDSL offerings with contention lower than 20:1, with each connection being able to support 6 concurrent voice calls without any drop in call quality. (Based on Toshiba StrataNet)
LAN Extension Service (LES)
LAN Extension Services (know known as Ethernet Extension Services) are dedicated links that enable you to interconnect your business sites and exchange information at the same high speed as the LAN/SAN networks you wish to interconnect
Lan Extension Service (LES) is a dedicated high capacity private circuit (speeds range from 10Mb to 10Gb) for short haul data use (roughly 25 Km / 15 Miles (35Km / 20Miles for LES1000ER)), LES circuits are presented as an ethernet interace (ATM interface on LES155 / LES622 circuits) so no additional equipment is needed.
Leased Lines
Private Line services are available in speeds ranging from 64Kbps to 10Gbps, and are not geographically limited like LES circuits (European coverage with an International service covering over 100 countries).
Private Lines are owned by you and can be configured and used in any way required, they are not switched either giving you instant connectivity, making it ideal for time critical business. You pay a fixed amount for the line irrespective of how much the line is used which can generate large cost savings for organisations that previously used public networks for voice / data calls
Lines are not presented as ethernet and will require additional equipment to connect to a LAN
